A power cycle is a simple way to fix some simple connection issues. While it may not address the overall cause of your issue, it often will get you back into the game as quickly as possible.

Step 1

Power down your computers and all networking components (routers, switches, modems, etc.)

Now wait about 1 minute.

Step 2

Has it been a minute yet? If so, turn on your components in this order:

1. Modem
2. Routers and other networking equipment
3. Computers

Important: Wait 1 minute after turning on each of the devices above to allow it to power up.

Step 3

Try the game again. Is it better/worse/the same?
